2023 Estate Pinot Gris: NEW RELEASE
100% Estate-bottled, this Pinot Gris is exceptional. Each subsequent vintage delights us, and it's known for being a staff favorite most often enjoyed at the end of the day.
Made from 100% estate fruit, this Yamhill-Carlton AVA wine is surprisingly tropical, and the nose is ripe and tropical, with guava and starfruit that slowly yield into green banana and cocoa butter. A refreshing and delicate mouthfeel is balanced with a surprising, tart zippiness that makes us think of key lime pie…but as always, with the influence of the minerality of our soil, Willakenzie Loam. The soil provides a perfect anchor to this wine. Fresh salads, sushi, seared tuna, or even chicken tacos will be a match made in heaven for this newest Estate Pinot Gris. As with our Rosé of Pinot Noir and Estate Chardonnay, we love to compare different vintages of our Estate Pinot Gris, as the influence climate has in the end result of wine is so evident.
