2018 Cabernet Sauvignon: Member Exclusive
Our 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is an old soul trapped in a bottle. While it may be relatively young by the traditional aging standards for some Cabernet Sauvignon, that is the only thing that could be considered young about this wine. Aged for over 26 months in barrel, this Cabernet displays a refinement far beyond its years. A rich bouquet with notes of bittersweet chocolate, and slight minerality greets you. Soft tannins are accompanied by juicy notes of dark fruit - blackberry and black berry in particular come to mind! A unique but refined, elegant note of Creme de Cassis ties the flavors together in a marvelous harmony. This will be the perfect companion to a classic steak dinner, (or maybe roasted, stuffed Portabello mushrooms), a cozy night in by the fireplace, or a dinner party with friends.
