2017 Reserve Syrah: Member Exclusive
Before we craft our signature red blends, we look for spectacular barrels of our single varietal big reds, which are produced using grapes from Oregon's warmer AVA's. In 2017, we had eight outstanding barrels of Syrah from the Columbia Valley. This Syrah presents all of the traditional characteristics that we love. It features bold, ripe fruit, balanced acidity and lovely notes of cedar wood. Syrah is so pleasing with or without food and this example, while young, will be delicious to open and enjoy now as long as you give it some time to breathe or use an aerator. Try this with a simple pasta, or barbecue chicken or ribs.
