Legacy: First produced in 1986 from our estate vineyard in Carlton, Sauvignon Blanc has been something we are well known for producing. After our estate vines succumbed to phylloxera in 2006 we now produce our Sauvignon Blanc from a stunning vineyard in the Rogue Valley AVA of Southern Oregon. We are so grateful for each bottle of this delicious wine because the growing conditions of the last several years in the Rogue Valley have had their difficulties. 

Aroma: peach blossom, pink grapefruit, clementine

Palate: white peach, melon, nectarine

Mouth Feel: soft and juicy, with minerality and a lingering finish

Legacy: Our Rosé of Pinot Noir is one of our most followed wines - and for good reason! It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes that are grown specifically for this Rosé. We transitioned our Rosé production to our Estate in 2021 and with two different vintages we have selected different clones. This vintage features our a blend of our Dijon 777 & Pommard blocks. Each vintage we go to exacting measures to keep much of the production process exactly the same, resulting in a Rosé that is flavorful, delicious, and most importantly captures and reflects the differences in the vintage. 

Aroma: Green apple, pineapple, honeysuckle

Palate: Pear, green apple, minerality and citrus zest

Mouth Feel: Juicy with mouthwatering acidity with a hint of sweetness

Region: Yakima Valley AVA (Washington)

Legacy: One of the first six wines released in 1986, when Laurel Ridge opened its doors, was a “White Riesling” (there was also a Riesling-based sparkling wine- the original Cuvée Blanc), and it was one of the original varietals planted in 1980 on Finn Hill (the name of our Estate Vineyard.). We lost the original acreage when the vineyard became diseased with phylloxera, but we have always intended to replant Riesling on the vineyard at some point. For now, we make it every few  years, whenever we find fruit we really love.

Aroma: Pear, guava, lemon, citrus zest, sea breeze

Palate: Honeysuckle, fresh orchard apple, lingering mineral

Mouth Feel: crisp and mouthwatering

Region: Yamhill-Carlton AVA, Finn Hill Estate Vineyard

Legacy: 100% estate grown and produced from our replanting completed in 2015, this Pinot Gris bursts with flavor. Our Estate Pinot Gris has turned out to be a bit of chamelion when it comes to definining its characteristics. While the aromas and flavors flucturate with the vintage one thing always holds true and that is the mineral backbone of our Estate Pinot Gris.  Every year as the vines mature we see more complexity in the wine in addition to these wines reflecting each growing season. We believe the Willamette Valley is an incredible place to grow Pinot Gris. Specifically on our Yamhill-Carlton Estate, our  soil, Willakenzie Loam, is an ancient marine sedimentary soil that leads to a richness in the fruit, and has a delightful impact on the resulting minerality that almost seems to carry the faintest trace of saltwater from millions of years ago. As with our Rosé of Pinot Noir and Estate Chardonnay, we love to compare different vintages of our white wines, as the influence weather has in the end result of wine is so evident.

Aroma: white peach, honeysuckle, asian pear, citrus, marmelade 

Palate: lemon curd, harvest apple flesh and skin, lemon zest, slate, hay

Mouth Feel: bright, juicy, clean, dry

Legacy: Every year we craft our Chardonnay in both stainless steel and neutral oak. We had an incredibly small yield with exceptional quality in 2022 and elected to produce this vintage in 100% stainless steel. Only 50 cases were produced. 

Aroma: starfruit, honeysuckle, jasmine, honey, slate

Palate: lemon curd, peach, nectarine, lime tart

Mouth Feel: silky and elixir-like

Legacy: Our Chasselas Doré is the only remaining half acre from our original 1980 planting, completed by our founder David Teppola.  A unique alpine varietal, most commonly grown in Switzerland, dry white alpine wine with a distinctly floral, herbaceous nose, and a supple, luxurious mouth feel. Best served at room temperature, the Chasselas Doré is an extremely limited release that is traditionally a Wine Club Exclusive, as we are not guaranteed a harvest every year. 

Aroma: Citrus, apple tart, pie crust

Palate: lemon zest, soft baking spice 

Mouth Feel: Rich, creamy, finish with minerality

Legacy: Chardonnay is a perfect reflection of Laurel Ridge's style of winemaking, crafted over 34 vintages. With the completion of our re-planting in 2015, we are so excited to once again be producing estate Chardonnay, to compliment our winemaking style with fruit from our own vineyard. Each vintage of our Chardonnay has subtle differences in how it is handcrafted, but our Chardonnay is always crafted in a traditional Burgundian fashion, aged in 50% stainless steel and 50% neutral oak. 

Aroma: Strawberry, raspberry, lychee 

Palate: white peach, melon, nectarine, blood orange

With the completion of our re-planting in 2015, we are so excited to once again be producing estate Chardonnay, to compliment our winemaking style with fruit from our own vineyard. Each vintage of our Chardonnay has subtle differences in how it is handcrafted, but our Chardonnay is always crafted in a traditional Burgundian fashion. The 2019 Chardonnay has been held in 100% neutral oak for 10 months.
