Legacy: Our David’s Tableau Vivant is a sweet and lasting homage to our founder, David Teppola. His final project, David passed in the midst of crafting this exceptional, right bank style Bordeaux blend. Completed posthumously by his wife Susan against all odds, our David’s Tableau Vivant tells the story of what matters most: the many beautiful years David and Susan shared together, and a life lived well. 

Each subsequent incarnation carries with it the legacy of the Teppola family, and testifies to love and commitment that last through generations of family. 

Aroma: Ripe red fruit, faint echo of leather 

Palate: Cranberry and cherry, finishing with mulledu spice and cinnamon. 

Mouth Feel: Juicy and supple, heavier in body

Region: Columbia Valley AVA

Legacy: After more than a decade, we are so excited to present another vintage of our Parallel! A blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Malbec, the last Parallel was first crafted in 2010, and is one of our most coveted library bottles. One of our lesser known custom red blends, this originated when Susan, still helming the winery after David’s passing, wanted to continue to create interesting red blends that would showcase Oregon’s climate - and to create wines that David himself would have liked. Susan had never heard of a blend of Merlot and Malbec, but thought that the combination could be delicious - the softness of the Merlot taming some of the intensity of the Malbec, which would help provide structure to the wine.

Our delicious, Tawny-style Port is a blend of Cabernet Sauvingnon and Cabernet Franc from the Rogue Valley AVA. 

Aroma: Dark fruit, cola, spice

Palate: Wild blueberry, blackberry, unami, earthiness 

Mouth Feel: Exceptionally plush tannins, balanced acid

Region: Chehalem Mountains AVA, Finnigan Hill Vineyard 

Legacy: Our Barrel Select process is a process unique to our vineyard that was created by our founder, David Teppola, back in the 1980's. As the barrels age, they are closely monitored by our Winemaker for one of two (or both) qualities - first, a barrel of exceptionally delicious quality, or second, a barrel that is showing immense promise as it ages. The very top barrels are selected and blended together to create a unique blending that reflects the Teppola family's interpretation as to what aromas and flavors exemplify that vinrtage, and set it apart from other years. Ultimately, a Barrel Select Pinot Noir represents the top 8 to 10% of barrels in any vintage of Pinot Noir. 

Aroma: Cracked black pepper, spice, cinnamon, dark fruit

Palate: Wild blueberry, wild blackberries, cedar, pine

Mouth Feel: Velvety, round and full flavored, relaxed and silky
