Legacy: Our Reserve Pinot Noir bottlings make up some of the best bottles of Pinot Noir in our portfolio. Typically coming from our estate vineyard, or vineyards that display unique characteristics (such as highly prized soil, altitude, etc), opening a bottle of our Reserve Pinot is truly a celebration. Although our Reserve Pinot Noirs can be enjoyed at the time of release, we strongly encourage cellaring for these wines, as they display significant evolution as they age in bottle. One of our favorite recommendations for our Reserves is to cellar two or more bottles, opening them at 6 month increments to observe and enjoy the incredible progression of the wine. 

Aroma: Dark fruit, fresh garden herbs, earth tones

Palate: Opening blackberry and black currrant, transitioning into smooth marshmallow root, maple syrup, and finishing with green tobacco, herbs and leather. 

Mouth Feel: Balanced tannin, long, lingering finish

Legacy: Our Barrel Select process is a process unique to our vineyard that was created by our founder, David Teppola, back in the 1980's. As the barrels age, they are closely monitored by our Winemaker for one of two (or both) qualities - first, a barrel of exceptionally delicious quality, or second, a barrel that is showing immense promise as it ages. The very top barrels are selected and blended together to create a unique blending that reflects the Teppola family's interpretation as to what aromas and flavors exemplify that vintage, and set it apart from other years. Ultimately, a Barrel Select Pinot Noir represents the top 25% of barrels in any vintage of Pinot Noir. 

Aroma: Pear, Orchard Apple, Candied Lemon Peel 

Palate: Granny Smith Apple, Fresh Pear, Lemon Drop, Brioche

Mouth Feel: Clean, dry, luscious

Region: Finnigal Hill Vineyard: Chehalem Mountains AVA

Legacy: Our traditional method sparkling wine made from 100% Chardonnay. 

Aroma: Black cherry, hints of cedarwood

Palate: Opens with ripe plum and chocolate, melding into sweet tobacco, espresso, cocoa

Mouth Feel: Silky, balanced, smooth tannins

Legacy: Our David’s Tableau Vivant is a sweet and lasting homage to our founder, David Teppola. His final project, David passed in the midst of crafting this exceptional, right bank style Bordeaux blend. Completed posthumously by his wife Susan against all odds, our David’s Tableau Vivant tells the story of what matters most: the many beautiful years David and Susan shared together, and a life lived well. 

Each subsequent incarnation carries with it the legacy of the Teppola family, and testifies to love and commitment that last through generations of family.
